Most inspection companies buy off-the-shelf reporting software and live with whatever it spits out. We didn't. SureHome designed and built its own inspection platform — Inspectico — from the ground up: a native iOS app our inspectors carry on-site, and a web interface where every report is reviewed, finished, and delivered. We built it for one reason. We wanted to hand you the clearest, most complete, best-documented inspection report available in Brevard County, and no product on the market did it the way we wanted it done.
Owning the software means we control the parts that actually matter to you: how findings are worded, how photographs are organized, what gets flagged as a concern, and how fast the finished report reaches your inbox. When we find a better way to explain something, we change it — we don't file a feature request and wait.

Inspectico for iOS — Built for the Attic and the Roof
Inspection work happens in places where cell service doesn't. The Inspectico iOS app is fully offline-first — every answer, note, and photograph is stored on the device as it's captured, whether the inspector is in a crawlspace, an attic, or standing on a roof in Palm Bay with one bar. Nothing depends on a connection, and nothing gets reconstructed from memory back in the truck. When the inspector is back on Wi-Fi, the whole inspection uploads on its own.
Findings are captured through structured fields and a library of pre-written note snippets an inspector taps to insert, then edits as needed. That's not a shortcut — it's consistency. The same defect gets described the same clear way on every report, and it saves the inspector's attention for inspecting rather than typing. Photographs are attached to the system they document at the moment they're taken, so the panel photo files under Electric and the shingle photo files under Roof.
Red-flag rules are built into every inspection type. When an inspector records a Federal Pacific panel, polybutylene supply lines, or a roof near the end of its service life, the app flags it on the spot and rolls it into the report's Items of Concern summary. Before leaving the property, a review screen confirms every required field has been answered — so we don't discover a gap the next morning when you're waiting on the report.
The Web Interface — Where the Report Gets Finished
An inspection isn't done when the inspector leaves. Once the app syncs, the inspection opens in our web interface, where the inspector reviews every answer, assigns and captions photographs, sets the cover image, and reads back the red-flag summary before anything goes out. It's a deliberate second pass — the field app captures, the web tool finishes.
From there, the report is generated server-side as a polished PDF and delivered to you, your agent, and your carrier. For insurance work, the platform also fills the actual carrier forms — the Citizens 4-point form and the state wind mitigation form (OIR-B1-1802) — so what your insurer receives is the document they're expecting, not a substitute we hope they'll accept.
Every Inspection Type Is Its Own Template
Inspectico is template-driven — each inspection type is a versioned template rather than hardcoded software. That has a practical benefit for you: when a carrier revises a form or we improve how we word a finding, we publish a new template version, and every report we've already delivered still renders exactly as it was captured. Your report doesn't drift years later when you need to pull it back up for a claim or a resale.
